The Program: HOW TO FIND A HUSBAND AFTER 30 teaches you to market yourself and find a lifelong partner.
You may be looking for your first permanent relationship… or may be your fourth. You’ve probably experienced waves of resignation, thinking you’ll never find a mate.
You may be divorced or widowed or never have married. Maybe you’ve been with the wrong guy. Perhaps you have trouble meeting men? It makes no difference: you’re single, over 30 and ready for a change.
For some, being single has been your choice. You’ve had other priorities – friends, family, hobbies and career- and have been too busy to focus on committing yourself to one man. But perhaps you’re ready now to shift your focus.
Of course, you don’t want to find just any partner. You could have done that by now. What you want is a wonderful partner for life. And those great husbands are out there. Some are shy, some are busy with their jobs, and some are busy being single parents. But most of them just don’t know where the wonderful single women are.
There men are lonely and looking for love, too.
If you were searching for a job, you would devote an enormous amount of time and effort to finding the right one. And if you want to lose weight, you’d know you’d have to make sacrifices. The program is like a diet and a job search combined: there are rules and sacrifices involved.
The Program is a 15 step action plan that uses marketing tactics to help you “sell” yourself and find your future partner…. You are the “product”, and the program is your “Strategic Plan”.
Step 1
Marketing Focus
Make finding a wonderful husband your No 1 priority –psychologically. Physically and financially. Create a dedicated budget for finding your partner – as a guideline, use 10% of your annual income, or use the money you’ve for a rainy day – if you’re single after 30, its pouring!
Steps 2
Marketing support
Ask one of your best married friends to give you advice and monitor your progress.
Step 3
Packing
Looking like a woman! Improve your appearance, whether it means dieting or buying a push-up bra. Always look your best – you have to sell what the customer wants.
Step 4
Market Expansion
Hunt for a man in as many places as possible. And forget about your “type” – too short, too fat, too old? Ask yourself what type of man am I looking for? The answer should be: someone wonderful.
Step 5
Branding
You need to make yourself stand out from the crowd. Concentrate on the things about you that are positive and most memorable. Focus on your attributes that appeal to a wide range of men.
Step 6
Advertising
Announce to your friends, family and acquaintances that you’re on the hunt, and ask them if they know of a possible date for you.
Step 7
Online marketing
Think about using online dating services to cast your net wide. This is high-volume. Inexpensive and you can check out potential dates at any times of the day or night.
Step 8
Guerrilla marketing
Examine everything in your life and make chances to get out of your relationship rut – use new supermarket, take the bus instead of the train, or join a club. Carry a book or wear a T-shirt with a slogan – they’re excellent conversation starters.
Step 9
Niche Marketing
Seek our friend who are happy married and well connected. Ask if they know any suitable men. Get them to spread the word and organize blind dates for you.
Step 10
Telemarketing
Get out your old address book. Call everyone you know and ask them to arrange a date for you – even your grandmother’s neighbor. You should score one blind dare per 10 calls.
Step 11
Mass Marketing
Think of everywhere you might meet men and try them all each week – singles groups, single locations (bookshops, cafes, dog parks), dating services. Force yourself to try things outside your comfort zone.
Step 12
Event Marketing
Throw a party and invite single men as possible dates, as well as friends who bring someone and women who can help match-make. Invite your failed dates – he may be The One for anther single women!
Step 13
Product Life Cycle
If it’s not working, take a break to recharge your batteries. If you feel your emotions are building up, have a good cry – get your frustrations out so you can face the world with a positive outlook.
Step 14
Quarterly Performance Review
If you’re now dating someone by now, you need to take a hard look at why you are still single. Conduct “exit interview “– find out why your ex-boyfriends dumped you.
Step 15
Exit strategy
You’d better decide of you’re going to dump him or marry him!
